This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are building a new culture of musicians, artists,...humans with compassion, and empathy. Our kiddos are each their own ambassadors for their families and their own futures. Some or our kiddos do not have the best living conditions a Our Kiddos our 80% hispanic with a hundred percent free lunch, on the South Side of Phoenix and are still in need of dependable first rate equipment. I implore you to look deep into your musician heart's. Providing a foundation forever nurturing our future. Our future; accompanist, lesson instructors, musical therapist, Directors, Producers, Managers, DJ's, Movie Composers, Video Game Composers, Engineer's, Song Writer's, Journalist........
Our kiddos inspire us, the parents, paras, custodians, secretaries, nurses, educators, ranging from all different types of social and economical backgrounds, and continuing to instill a sense of family and love.
Giving all that they have left, might mean they will do without. Thinking of others first and continuing to support and give. They remind us daily that we are music and have a right to be any form of music, and in being music we must have a way and means to express this ever evolving art form. They do this with our
My Project
Being able to have stable, supportive music stands, will allow our students to express themselves more freely, without concerning themselves with fallen musics or iPads. While manipulating a new, yet familiar inanimate object, our artists are capable of communicating, with confidence and integrity, their music/art to anyone around the world.
The new stands would be able to support and stabilize our method books, musics, and iPads, allowing for better engagement and learning.
The old stands are often difficult or at times dangerous to use and have outlived their use. Utilizing a set of brand new stands would surely be a game changer for our ninas y ninos.
