This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students at our school are amazing! They love to draw, color, and create crafts. From kindergarten kids to fifth graders, the students are eager to explore their creative sides.

Art instruction is important in developing: motor skills, decision-making skills, language skills, and imagination!

Not only do my students create art for art's sake, but they also create art in conjunction with sharpening their reading, language, writing, and math skills. Integrating art with academic subjects helps students understand the material and retain information. Art helps make learning fun for all students!
