My Students
Hello! I currently teach at a preschool-3rd-grade school! Our school has self-contained classrooms for students with special needs from kindergarten to third grade. There are also a number of different preschool programs at my school, including two self-contained Pre-k classrooms, a blended preschool classroom, and three general education preschool classrooms. I teach in a Significantly Modified with Intensive Supports Preschool Classroom (self-contained classroom).
I currently have 17 amazing students with varying personalities, interests, and skills!
All of my students have moderate to severe disabilities and have limited expressive language. In addition, they come from varying socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds. During the day, my paraprofessionals and I use various strategies in order to meet the academic, personal, and social-emotional needs of our students!
My Project
For this project, I am focusing on getting ink for my printer! The students in my classroom are visual learners and learn best when instruction, directives, and tasks are shown visually. So I print numerous materials throughout the week in order to meet their needs! I currently use my own printer in my classroom to print materials because our school-wide printer broke earlier in the year.

This project will also allow my students to have more sensory objects, manipulatives to play with during free choice time, and math manipulative trays to support them in sorting, patterning, and counting!
