This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The use of whiteboards and posters are sometimes vital when teaching concepts in physical education class. Many of my students have not been exposed to playing organized games or working out outside of their school setting. My students sometimes struggle to learn basic rules of the game without the help of visual aids. Working outside can be challenging to explain these concepts especially when multiple fields are arranged in a large area. The portable dry erase board will allow me to set up anywhere and provide a place for my students to understand different player positions, comprehend how the game is played and have a clear picture of the playing field. Furthermore, the exercise posters will reinforce proper body alignment when doing strength exercises.
By donating to our project, you will help increase student understanding of the games they play, increasing their success when participating.
This in turn will improve their ability to stay physically active and fit.
