This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class is 1 out 3 Sped Aut Core classes at my school. I teach TK-1st grade and live it! We just completed our first week back through distance learning. I was so proud of my kiddos but I am worried as they don’t all have the resources they need. My kiddos are hands-on learners and require visuals and accommodations I can easily provide at school. I will be sending my students a backpack with materials for my class to create a routine at home. When backpack comes out, it’ll mean it’s work time! And that way they all have some helpful resources to learn from home.

My Project

These materials will be helpful to teach from home. I plan on using the portable board to hold whole group lessons while I teach my students through zoom. I have a TK-1st Sped class and I need to find ways to keep them engaged! These items will be super helpful when teaching from home. As I am going over letters/sounds, numbers and stories. I can easily hang some visual behind me that could help me with any lesson. I will also be sending my TA the smaller board for breakout room/small group activities. Thank you so much in advance! My kids will benefit from it!
