Visualizing the Future in Design Through AR and VR

My Project

Imagine students learning the flight mechanics of drones, exploring virtual worlds, and creating immersive art all in one classroom. Thanks to previous generous donors, our students now have access to Meta Quest 3 headsets and drone technology, opening the door to hands-on learning in STEAM, visual arts, and digital storytelling.

But there’s one major piece missing: a dedicated iPad to operate and enhance these tools.

Currently, we’re using the classroom technology board which limits full access across multiple classes and projects.

With an iPad, students will be able to:

practice drone flights and capture footage with our drone to explore photography, environmental science, and cinematography.

They will be able to operate Meta Quest 3 headsets to create interactive art and experience virtual exhibitions.

They will also be able to use AR/VR apps to design, code, and build in 3D spaces, skills that connect directly to STEAM careers.

They will also be able to showcase student-led digital projects at school and school district events.

Our students are passionate, talented, and full of ideas. They’ve participated in state-level art competitions and district tech showcases, and they’re eager to lead in tomorrow’s creative industries.

This iPad is the gateway to unlocking more independent learning, more creativity, and more real-world tech application in the classroom.
