This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are energetic and receptive to learning new ways of accessing the core curriculum. Visual learning has proven to be useful because it is a learning style where my students can learn and retain information most effectively by seeing it, using visuals like images, charts, diagrams, and maps. My students learn best by doing, and being involved in their learning.

These Science resources will be crucial for developing my students' understanding of scientific concepts, which can improve their reading comprehension skills, and foster scientific literacy.

It will also bring science to life! These sequential series feature engaging photos paired with very simple text to boost my students' reading confidence.

My goal is to use the Science Readers as supplemental support to aid students in accessing their daily Science lessons.
