My Students
I have 25 of the best, most unique, interesting students in grade 3. They come to Lowell from all over the world, from Brazil to Puerto Rico, from Portugal to Cambodia. We are located in a high-poverty school district. All of my students receive free breakfast and lunch. Some of my students have not had the best experience in school or maybe have missed a bunch of school due to unexpected circumstances. I try to use every minute during our school day to help my students achieve every day. It can be challenging some days, but it's a job I love!
My Project
This whiteboard will be used at my home for remote learning. It will give me the ability to show visuals and examples that will be beneficial to all of my students. Many students are visual learners and having this tool will help me to make concepts more understandable to my students, especially my English Language students.
I will be able to show a breakdown of Math problems, examples of correct sentence structure, as well as, pictures to help with curriculum understanding.
