My Project
Many of my special education students face significant challenges, including medication effects, complicated home lives, and financial poverty. Many also come from underprivileged minority communities making it difficult for them to engage in learning, especially in subjects like social studies that require abstract thinking and complex concepts. To help them succeed, they need specialized tools and methods.
With your support, I aim to provide essential resources like posters, maps, and graphic organizers to make learning more accessible and engaging.
These visual aids will help students connect with the material, stay motivated, and build confidence. Interactive maps will allow students to visualize geography, historical movements, and global contexts, deepening their understanding of how geography influences history.
Colored graphic organizers: Printed on brightly colored paper, these organizers will cater to various learning styles. They will break down complex information, help students organize their thoughts, and improve memory retention through color and structure.
I already have some posters from donations earlier.
By integrating these tools into the classroom, I aim to reduce overwhelming feelings, increase engagement, and make learning more tangible and memorable for my students. Your support will help create a structured, motivating environment where these students can thrive and rise above their complex circumstances.
