This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In PreK classrooms, transition time can be difficult for young students; however, having visual timers can help them. Visual timers help students understand how much time they have for a task and helps them mange their pace accordingly; thus, improving their focus and reducing the feeling of being overwhelmed. Visual timers can also be particularly helpful for students with special needs, who may benefit from a clear and predictable representation of time. Finally visual timers can also help teachers stay on track and manage class time effectively, ensuring that all important activities are covered.
