Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school aims to assist every student in reaching their full potential to the best of their ability. All of our students have gifts and dreams waiting to be revealed. As a school we pride ourselves in discovering our students creative abilities through providing the necessary tools that they need to succeed.
As a visual arts teacher, I teach all of our wonderful 55 students and they all have something beautiful to create.
They voice themselves through their works of art.
My Project
As we rapidly move into a more technological world I've noticed that all students need more exposure to technology. These laptops will assist my students in being able to work towards becoming independent research specialists.
The use of technology provides multiple access points for expression, exposure, visual thinking strategies, and most importantly it will expose my students to a simulation of how high school completes their course capstones/portfolios.
By donating to our project, you will be providing our students with adequate tools to be able to enhance their technological literacy skills while incorporating and appreciating the world of visual arts.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
