My Students

I am a new teacher in a second-grade classroom full of diverse learners with different needs. My students are creative, witty, and fun to be around. I have students ranging in reading levels, math skills, and coming from homes where multiple languages are spoken. I have students who love a challenge, and others who are just trying to figure out how to get by after being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

My Project

I am looking to get a document camera to enhance my teaching for all students, but specifically to help visual learners in my second-grade classroom.

This document camera will help me project things like math books, phonics word work, and writing samples.

If I am able to project these items students will be able to follow along, take notes, and copy information to help them become stronger students. Most teachers I know have document cameras and use them daily! My classroom would feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to have a document camera. Thank you!
