Help me give my students with special needs a moveable divider to create a safe learning environment with limited distractions.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My first-grade students, many of whom are Neurodiverse learners and English Language Learners, benefit greatly from a learning environment that supports their diverse needs. The structure of our classroom is critically important for our student’s learning. The environment needs to be predictable. We need separate areas for the different centers and areas of work (independent work, group work, break time, etc.). These areas need to be visually divided so that the student can focus on the work in that area and not be distracted. This will help keep my students safe, calm, and focused during the day.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
