Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are a wonderful group of third graders. They come to school ready and eager to learn; however, we are Title I school and have a high population of low income families, some of them are living at or near the poverty level. Because our families are on very limited budgets, some students don't have a backpack to hold their school supplies, yet our families love and care very much for their children and want the best education for them. Our students deserve to have every opportunity to be academically successful.
My Project
My third graders need to be able to learn the 21st century way. They need to be able to not just read about the world but be there.
By requesting an Oculus Go Standalone Virtual Reality Headset, my students will be able to travel around the world seeing the Egyptian pyramids, walking around the beautiful Eiffel Tower and going to Mars or the moon.
This is the 21st century way to learn, Virtual Reality.
Thank you in advance for considering my classroom project. My students are looking forward to traveling the world using their Oculus Go Standalone Virtual Reality Headset.
