it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a remarkable student in my kindergarten class who happens to be visually impaired. I had the privilege of briefly having an Irie CloverBook Pro Electronic Magnifier in the classroom, and the impact was astounding. This device allowed her to access information like never before, enabling her to keep pace with her peers. With a distance camera, she could see everything on the board and zoom in on any details she required. Moreover, it provided her the ability to magnify and read papers independently, fostering tremendous confidence. However, the device was on loan, and its absence has made her learning journey more challenging.
My goal with this project is to secure a permanent solution for her, ensuring she can continue to thrive academically.
She's a truly exceptional and bright student, and I am determined to provide her with the tools she needs to succeed to the best of her abilities. This magnifier is not just a device; it's a key to unlocking her potential and ensuring she can fully participate in the classroom, which warms my heart.
