This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Engaging and inspiring mathematical learning. I teach 3rd grade in a community with high-need. A majority of the students have little or no access to much of today's technology.
My class tends to become bored with math. I want to make it exciting and interactive for them. With our new program they seem more interested and I believe that will only increase with the use of the technology included with the program.
I need to be able to grab the students' attention. I believe that with the LCD projector and the available resources that I can not only grab it, but hold on to it.
Your help will ensure that my students will take a serious interest in math, as well as various other subjects, which will promote further success in their futures.
