This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a dual language teacher with the privilege to work with bright bilingual students who critically think about the world around them. As such, representation and learning about their history becomes important to help them form their own opinions about our world.
Books are a window to the world, but most importantly, they can be mirrors in our lives.
By helping me expand my Spanish classroom library, my students can have options to continue to develop the language with fun and engaging books, learning about their history and culture and popular series in Spanish.
