My Students
My students are creative, young citizens who are diverse in their ethnic background. They come to my classroom full of life and energy. Their homes and families are rich in culture and tradition. While my students are creative and bring so many ideas to the table, they often lack the necessary resources to provide the opportunities, tools, activities, etc., to explore their ideas. I am seeking resources to create more opportunities for them to learn and grow through the arts.
My Project
Teaching and learning has changed and adapted this year just like many other aspects of society. In my teaching day, it is necessary to have multiple devices and screens to teach digitally through online classrooms and platforms as well as share information with in-person, in-class learners as well as students online, learning virtually from home. My classroom is hybrid, mobile, digital, virtual, and traditional. Multiple devices have become necessary to make this successful. Also, assessment, sharing information, collecting work has also taken a digital approach. An iPad will provide another means for collecting data through photos and videos.
