My Students
Our school is now offering an all virtual option this school year. Our students come from a variety of backgrounds but all have a willingness to learn. Many of our teachers are innovators in their fields and are trying to accommodate the needs of all of our students. Engaging students in a virtual classroom can be challenging but having the right tools can make a huge difference.
My students are energetic and love to learn.
They are curious about the world around them. These challenging times have made it difficult for all students to get the resources they need. Supplies for virtual learning are vital right now as well as tools teaching effectively in a virtual classroom.
My Project
Teaching in the virtual world has its challenges. One of those challenges is having multiple tabs and programs open while teaching an online class. To help manage the many programs, lesson materials, and monitoring software that is needed during any given class, it would be helpful to have a large second monitor to accommodate this.
I am hoping to get a second monitor to teach my online virtual classes.
Being a social studies teacher, my lessons could include many topics including history, geography, economics and finance, culture, and government. These classes are filled with a wide variety of activities to keep the students engaged. Doing all of this on a single monitor is a challenge during a live virtual class. I would be able to more effectively manage my classes if I was able to see all multiple tabs at once.
