This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are struggling emotionally. They are scared and don’t know what’s happening. Most of their parents have lost their jobs. I had to lend out my class laptops to my students so they could complete online assignments. It’s been a struggle for all of us.

My Project

My students have done an amazing job this last quarter during remote learning. There were many students that didn't have laptops to complete their remote learning assignments. As a teacher, it broke my heart that all my students didn't have equal opportunity to continue their education at home.

I believe all students should have an equal assesses to the core curriculum while doing remote learning.

Every student needs a laptop especially now that our students are not able to come to school. They are learning at home and it is essential that all my students have a laptop.
