Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are bilingual and are learning to be independent readers and writers in Spanish and English. They enjoy reading books, working with robotics, and coding. They like helping each other when they work in groups.
In our class, we are building a classroom family, where everyone matters.
We have school guiding principles we are learning in order to become responsible and respectful citizens. For example, having integrity, everyone matters, and not everyone learns the same way because we are all different.
My Project
With this $100 gift card, I will be able to purchase distant learning materials from Teachers Pay Teachers. These additional resources will allow me to meet my students' different needs. They will also allow me to spend more time planning my lessons and relieve the pressure of creating new lessons from scratch. TPT has wonderful teacher made resources for virtual learning. Anything I buy will be useful now, and for many years to come. All my students are at different levels and deserve instruction that can help them move forward.
