This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from a low-income high-risk area. This VR device will give these students two opportunities. The first opportunity will be to use the technology during high-stress times to project a video and audio that soothes and calms them. The second will be to express themselves with the help of the VR software and their imaginations to great games and Rube Goldberg machines that will thrill the whole class.
My students have so much potential but lack the resources that would give them a technological edge, especially in the new virtual reality platform.
