Virtual Reality in the Classroom

My Students

I am a progressive teacher looking to try new things. I want to create thinkers and creators. US History is my content focus but my learners will work on projects and experiences that cross over to ELA, Math, Science, Technology, Innovation and more.

All learners should have the opportunity to create and innovate.

My learners are willing to take risks and I am willing to take them with them. We continue to learn together.

My learners come from all different backgrounds and live in the midwest. I believe we should share as much as we can world-wide.

My Project

My students NEED Virtual Reality in the classroom. Google Earth VR and other Google products put the student on the Golden Gate Bridge, in Independence Hall, in Tokyo Japan. Allowing students the opportunity to see different landscapes, different landmarks, visit other cities, and have the ability to "look" around will lead to endless possibilities.

Virtual Reality is the future!

My students can lead the transition to this powerful tool being used in the classroom. More and more companies will be producing experiences that can be accessed through Virtual Reality. I am excited to embark on this wonderful classroom experience with my students.
