School is a bit different this year to say the least, but my students are resilient. They just want to get back to some sense of normalcy. They come to school everyday and just want to get to work. My students are hardworking and driven to succeed. They have a fire inside of them and I want to help them burn brighter. Many students have different needs and ability levels, so I must be able to reach all of them. I have seen the benefits that come when a student is given a chance to reach their full potential despite their economic status and that is all I am asking for with these students.
My Project
Travel is always hard, especially now. I have had VR in my classroom before and it has been a great success among my students. They were able to go to locations around the entire world and see sites that would never have been available to them before. VR is the ultimate tool for geography teachers by incorporating technology into the lessons, bringing locations such as the Great Wall, Eiffel Tower, or The White House, into the classroom. VR is not just for playing games, it can be one of the greatest educational tools out there.
