Help me give my students an unforgettable interactive virtual learning experience by providing useful tools such as the Apple Macbook Pro to interact daily and document virtual experiences.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Teaching in a low-income/high poverty school district provides many challenges. The students in my classroom come from very diverse backgrounds but they have one thing in common...their thirst for learning in a nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment. They desire an environment that provides ample opportunities for active learning to take place while they are challenged and explore through the use of hands-on activities.
We provide rigorous instruction that enables our children to achieve academic excellence while building the social and emotional skills needed to become well-rounded individuals.
My goal is to offer my students experiences that they would not ordinarily be exposed to. I strive to provide them with hands-on materials that will inspire them to interact, investigate and explore. They love books, technology, and manipulating the environment through their senses. Together we make learning fun and successful.
My Project
As schools remain closed to the students, I look for a variety of ways to reach out to our children and enhance their learning. I strive to provide ideas and lessons that will inspire them to interact, investigate and explore. The use of technology will assist me in reaching my students at home during these trying times using an array of virtual platforms.
The use of the MacBook would enhance and invigorate lessons for my students while providing a virtual learning experience.
Our students, would be able to listen to stories as well as interact in science and math lessons while extending the classroom routine to their home environment.
Together we can make learning fun and successful! Our goal is to get through this new normal seamlessly and successfully.
