My students live in an urban setting and attend their neighborhood school. Which started offering the students the opportunity to attend a free Public Montessori School offering parents education utilizing Maria Montessori Educational Theory.
The students are multi-ages and use the key principles to learning development, which are Independence, Observation, Following the Child, Prepared Environment and Absorbent Mind.
My Project
The materials requested will support students learning remotely during virtual learning. The reading materials will be used and stored in the students at home library to assist parents with starting a library for beginning readers to enhance the students reading skills. The teacher will also be able to read stories to the students using the document camera and share a variety of instruction using the materials to continue to keep the students engaged. All of these materials will enhance the demonstration of virtual lessons for the students and allow the students to have materials at home for additional learning.
