Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a Title I school, and most of our students come from low income families. Our school educates students who are culturally diverse, and our school population receives free and reduced lunch. My students love learning and are excited to be in our classroom (virtually and live instruction), but supplies are required to do so, especially with this year’s circumstances. They strive to be the best that they can be, and I intend to get them where they need to be and encourage them to try their best.
My Project
I have used Teachers Pay Teachers as a learning go-to source and find it a valuable tool to be able to reach all the learning styles of students. Having a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will give me access to thousands of resources that I could use with my students. There are so many resources that I know would be useful for my students during the 2020-2021 school year, and this gift card could put them right into my fingertips.
