My Students
Our classroom needs laptop computers for virtual learning! Our district has been hugely impacted by the worldwide pandemic. This fall we were able to offer face to face learning, but with the Covid-19 surge this November, we have reverted to full virtual learning. Unfortunately, the students and teachers in our district have very low-quality technology, if they even have any! Student engagement is difficult with decent technology, but our virtual classes have been plagued with technology distractions or lack of participation due to sound and hearing issues. Please help my students get a chance to participate in their own education through virtual classes!
My Project
Third grade is the perfect grade to blend technological expertise and academic learning. My students are in this new generation of learners that take initiative with technology and explore on their own to learn.
My students need the appropriate equipment to use the virtual learning platforms that they need to participate in their classes daily.
They are motivated to learn. They can navigate and even instruct each other about technology. They deserve technology that works when they need it to so they are able to participate fully in their classes.
