Even though my students are from a high poverty area, they still come to school every day to get their education. I am trying to provide a fun and caring environment so the students can grow to their highest potential.
These students deserve any opportunity we can give them to make education fun and exciting!
My students are excited to learn and they deserve every opportunity to do so. We come from a Title I school so any extra love and support are greatly appreciated!
My Project
With schools shifting to virtual learning, it is important to have certain materials to get us started. In this project, I have requested specific materials that I feel will get not only myself but also me incoming first graders off to a great start! For example, having a whiteboard is important because it allows for an easier way to give the students a visual of what they are learning. With that also comes the proper supplies to keep it clean, such as an eraser, markers, and also cleaning fluid.
Having the correct supplies is helpful with virtual learning.
In addition, we also need chart paper so that we can create our anchor charts together. It is also important that the students have some fun and exciting books for read alouds. These will be used for small groups and for also a brain break if needed.
