My students are blended learners who come to school part of the week and also learn from home. They are in third grade. Many of my students come from low-income families. Several are English language learners. There are a few that come from single-parent (or single-grandparent) households.
All of my students are unique individuals who are always eager to learn and be engaged in exciting activities.
My diverse third graders come from a variety of backgrounds and have different needs and wants. All of my students are eager to learn, with open minds, ready to be filled with knowledge.
Our virtual class has become their second family. They are very energetic and enjoy working with each other, love projects and strive to do their best. All in all, they are a group of awesome kids!
My Project
Teaching over 50 students at a time while video conferencing is a whole new world for many people.
Having a larger monitor with a connector cable and adapter, would literally double the size of my students on the screen, allowing me to clearly see facial expressions.
While sharing my screen on one device, I can know see their faces on this device if funded. The ability to see this will allow for more engagement with me and a better remote learning experience for them. I will be able to quickly asses who needs help with the lesson or concept. Delivering the best possible education under any circumstances is my priority, regardless of location.
