My students need headsets to participate in their virtual learning classes.

My Students
Online classes can deliver much-needed miracles for students with class scheduling issues. Increasingly heavier use is taking a toll on our headsets. The headsets from this project will replace the ones that have gone bad recently and provide a small cushion against future losses.
Virtual learning students at our high school are motivated and determined to succeed in their online classes.
Reasons for their being in these classes vary, from courses no longer offered locally due to funding cuts, to transfers from schools with different types of schedules, to college level classes for advanced students.
Our school is in a rural/suburban area, and our students come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Problems with the economy have definitely affected our school and our students' families, but we try to keep doing the best we can with what we have. We have high expectations, and are very proud of our students' successes.
My Project
With all of the other activities going on in the library as they work, and the fact that they have to participate verbally in many sessions, headsets are a MUST for our virtual learning students.
These students are mostly seniors for whom completing an online class means being able to graduate on time and and a diploma that will give them a better chance of getting a job.
Not enough working headsets for the students in Virtual Learning classes at our school would mean that some students cannot complete those classes.
These classes allow them to get the credits they need to graduate, help them become more self-directed learners, and give them skills for their futures.
Your donation will help our students be able to complete their online classes successfully so they can graduate and become successful young adults who make a positive impact on their communities.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
