My Students

As a teacher in a low income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with many challenges. Even with these challenges, my students thrive and grow through this new virtual learning environment. They love to learn. They have curious minds always wanting to know more about the world.

Even though my students face many challenges due to difficult situations and high poverty, they find great joy in learning.

From the minute they log into my virtual classroom, I focus on helping them find joy and comfort in discovering new things.

My Project

This membership to Nearpod will help me make learning more fun and engaging for my virtual online class for early learners. Kindergarteners now have to learn through a computer screen. This kind of instruction can be hard for young learners to enjoy. There are ways to make learning more fun and engaging for these young learners. This membership will allow me to plan and assign activities that will be interactive and enjoyable. These little ones should have fun learning and this interactive instructional tool will help kids learn and have fun at the same time. This is one more way to help kids adjust to this online learning environment.
