My Students

I absolutely adore my 8th graders this year. A majority of their middle school career has been impacted by COVID-19, yet they come to class each day excited to be there. I do feel bad that these students have lacked out on field trips over the past two years which is why I hope my donorchoose plan gets accepted.

My Project

After recently getting a pair of these Virtual Reality goggles, I was blown away of all the information and educational purposes it had. Their YouTube VR app (which is free, is packed full of interactive videos from museums, significant locations, and just cool geographical hot spots (virtual tour guides). I truly believe that this implementation into my classroom will not only make learning more hands on, but dare I say… fun! With the app market constantly growing, I can only imagine more and more educational tools will be accessible. Thanks for you consideration.
