This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
With Virtual Reality, I can create immersive and engaging lessons in a safe and controlled VR environment. This will help improve students’ knowledge retention and understanding and spark students’ imagination with VR experiences as if they are actually there! Using VR in the classroom empowers teachers to personalize lessons, helps children who struggle with attention problems, and greatly enhances learning for all students. To illustrate, students can see life through the eyes of a surgeon, museum curator, soldier, or other professional field for a better picture of what life in that role would look like.
