My Students
My first-grade students have been placed in a Gifted and Talented classroom setting. They come from a variety of backgrounds. Our school has great diversity in many areas. I am teaching math and science this year. We work at a faster pace than the traditional first-grade classes. Our students come to school both virtually and in-person each day eager to learn new things. They desire to build relationships with their teachers and peers. They are a fun and energetic group of children that are always ready to take on any new challenge.
My Project
Thank you for your generosity! This money will be used to purchase virtual activities for students to complete while they are either doing school in person or virtually.
Engaging students in virtual learning activities can be a challenge, but through the collaboration of many teachers, we are making it possible.
Students are learning an abundance of new skills right now and are having to quickly apply them and be ready to learn more new things. The more practice we can give them the faster they will be able to apply it and learn more.
