My Project

Orchestra programs are a rarity in under-resourced schools across Connecticut, where access to instruments and instruction is often limited or nonexistent. Our school is committed to changing that narrative by building an inclusive orchestra program that gives every child the opportunity to experience the transformative power of music. With grant support to purchase violins, we can offer our students, many of whom would otherwise never have access to such an opportunity, the chance to develop skills in collaboration, discipline, creativity, and self-expression. Your investment would not only bring music to our school, but also help create a model of equity and excellence in arts education for communities like ours across the state.
