Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The use of the color printer will be to help students in the special education setting have access to handout assignments in color. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
First and foremost, I want to give all students a chance to access curriculum and work materials in color.
This will allow students to better visualize and differentiate between different images, such as a penny, nickel, dime, and quarter. They will be able to better visualize the correct coin to help support coin identification, making change, learning to coin money, and purchasing items in class and real-life situations. This will enhance the environment not only in the classroom but when transitioning out into the community.
