Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The lack of in-person learning during COVID gave students a lot of free time to play video games; as a result, video games are a motivator. Some students come to school knowing they can use learned video game skills to assist with their skills in their majors such as graphic design and video game development.
Students will gain exposure to and practice the art of team sports, companionship, strategy, communication, and other team-building skills using this video game.
Students will learn and practice healthy sportsmanship habits in a safe atmosphere, keeping them in school after hours as needed. Please help me increase student interest and in turn, student attendance after the effects of covid and other real life difficulties that many of my Title 1 students face.
This project is for a video game for my classroom for increased student engagement and for students to use learned video game skills to assist with their skills in their majors such as graphic design and video game development.
