My Students

"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn."

A typical day in my classroom is very busy and productive.

Students love to learn and are eager to do hands-on activities in the classroom and the laboratory setting. "Opportunity is often missed because it is disguised as hard work."

My students are from a tight-knit, rural community who love to show their school spirit and attend many activities provided by our school. We have small classes, and students get along well with each other. Our school shows pride through the hallways and has good school spirit.

My Project

Materials being requested are consumables used in a vet tech class - these include suture kits, IV starters, and other equipment that students will use to better their learning and hands on approach to gaining skill knowledge.

Vet techs are needed positions in the field of agriculture and sometimes do more with animals than the vet themselves.

Being actively engaged in the assignments at hand is an important trait that I want my students to have when learning the material that will give them a better edge in comparison to students who have no experience in the vet tech world.
