Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach children in the inner city. My children receive both free breakfast and lunch. My children have wonderful families but they are not able to help out with supplies for their children or items for our classroom.
Having flexible floor seating will help students explore books in our classroom library, and work together in groups on projects.
Most of my students come from very large families and do not have away to make space for themselves.
These chairs can be easily picked up and moved when a child needs space.
Having this in our library children can explore and go on adventure with books that they enjoy. They can also put the chairs together and buddy read.
When students work together in groups they can arrange these seats anywhere in the group and work on the project they are working on to discover and communicate and ideas and thought to build an amazing project as a team.
