My Project

Thank you for investing in our learners, classroom community, and school. Our students deserve every opportunity to reach success and have equitable access to engaging materials and everyday tools that support our classroom structure. We are so excited about the project Vertical Visible Thinking, and we hope you are too!

Across content, students are critically thinking and making connections to prior learning, and having access to vertical whiteboards to share their thinking while also learning from others will greatly increase impact and retention.

Students will be able to share their conceptual understanding in math, make character study connections in literacy, share graphic organizers while comparing texts, work through a science checklist while taking group notes, or share a brainstorm cloud around a writing topic on these whiteboards. They can use these vertical platforms to share with other teams and leave thinking over time as they build upon concepts or research. These mobile two-sided whiteboards allow for movement in the classroom and flexible learning spaces. Learners will also be learning soft skills that support their social emotional growth in terms of self and social awareness, teamwork, discussion skills, and growing their capacity to share vulnerably with peers.
