Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Whiteboards will provide a gallery setting for students to explore critical thinking tasks in a non-permanent, low-risk, group environment. Students will have the opportunity to display their thinking using various strategies while simultaneously learning from others.
Research shows vertical whiteboards will significantly support student engagement and critical thinking!
Peter Liljedahl, the author of Building Thinking Classrooms, has done the work to support this.
I am on a mission to create an environment of thinkers! The addition of vertical surfaces for small group work would be a huge step in that direction. Help me make this vision come to life!
