Vertical Non-permanent Surfaces for Group Work in Math Classroom
Help me give my students non permanent vertical surfaces where students can showcase their work. Studies show that doing work on such surfaces can help students feel less anonymous, encourage risk-taking, and improve student engagement.

My Project
Studies show that vertical non-permanent surfaces (VNPS) can be used in the classroom to promote social emotional learning (SEL) by:
- Encouraging active learning: Students can stand up and move around, which can help make their thinking process visible.
- Creating a collaborative environment: Students can work in groups and see what other groups are doing.
- Reducing anonymity: Students feel less anonymous when they are standing up, which can help them disengage less.
-Encouraging risk-taking: Students are more likely to try new ideas because they can easily erase mistakes.
-Promoting communication: Shared materials can lead to higher levels of engagement and thinking.
