I want to encourage collaborative learning with my students. Based on years of research, students learn best when they are up and moving and thinking and learning together. Public learning spaces help students come out of annonymity and work together. When given a space to safely explore their learning, students feel like they can share their ideas and learn with and from their classmates. Giving my students whiteboards to use will provide them a space for learning together. With these supplies, I look forward to seeing my students working together in collaborative learning which will lead to higher performance tasks.
