This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are energetic and enthusiastic learners who come to school every day eager to learn! They like to explore, question, and collaborate on a daily basis. We have tried out various learning strategies, and we are always anxious to explore new tools!

My students have a big appetite for knowledge!

Many of these students are not only acquiring a new language, but they're also mastering grade-level content. They are always excited and up for a new learning challenge. Learners today, leaders tomorrow!

My Project

VersaTiles are a fun and engaging way for students to show their learning. We already question books for math and ELA, but additional answer cases will allow more students to use the activities at the same time!

Students can all be working on different math and ELA concepts at their own level, but all be doing the same activity.

VersaTiles allows student to check their own work as they go and get immediate feedback. During station time, in both ELA and math, students are engaged in independent activities or are working in small groups. These answer cases will help students work more independently while making sure that they know if they're getting the correct answers.
