Help me give my students hands-on practice with standards with VersaTiles. These tiles allow students to monitor progress as they work and self-correct as needed.

My Students
Teaching in a high poverty area, where over half of the students are receiving free or reduced rate lunch, there are several challenges that my students face in math class each day. Despite the many challenges, my students are incredibly dedicated to learning each and every day and eager to practice new math skills. My students ARE worth the extra effort. Despite high-stakes tests saying most students are behind grade level, my students inspire me daily, with thoughtful questions and a constant search for information.
My Project
Picture this: We are in a classroom with a wide range of learners. Some students are working on grade level content, while others are practicing skills from previous grades. The teacher is spending time with a small group of students while the rest of the class practices a skill at their level. However, without teacher feedback, students may be practicing incorrectly without even knowing.
Teachers often cannot provide feedback to every student due to the diverse range of learners in a classroom.
What's great is that there are tools that can help eliminate this problem. With VersaTiles, students complete skill practice and place tiles in a case based on their answers. The case is closed when all of the questions have been answered. A student will flip the case over to check his/her work. If the pattern matches, it confirms that they have practiced correctly. If the pattern on the page doesn't match, the student can recognize that they need to self-correct.
These tiles are versatile and can be used in small groups, individually or with a partner. They are a great addition to math workshop time.
