What go you get when you combine 10 native Spanish speaking children and 10 native English speaking children in a classroom where half the day is in Spanish and half the day is in English?
BILINGUAL CHILDREN!! Students who will comprehend, speak, read and write in both Spanish and English.
Two classes of 20 participate in this program daily. The Spanish and English teacher see all 40 everyday.
Our second graders are quite energetic! They are picking up Spanish at a very quick pace. It is really awesome to experience and see the progress each day.

My students need a Listening Center that has storage, a CD player and headphones for their Daily 5 stations. as well as narrated books and comfy seats complement this station. I would love to continue providing educational experiences in Spanish with materials in the classroom. I would like to integrate Daily 5 stations throughout my classroom. The materials I am requesting will help fill two stations: listening to stories and read to self.
These donations will not only benefit the current students in the classroom but all future dual language students.
The stations support these children and all future dual language students as they learn how to comprehend, read and write in Spanish.
