Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students all are special educatio children with Down Syndrome and Autism or other health impairments. They are all working from home with parents or siblings on a daily basis. All students require hands-on activities that include manipulatives, laminated activity folders, worksheets, and visual schedules.

My Project

The use of hands-on task folders that will be compiled for my students will help them with fundamental letter-sound relationships and visual aids to help them learn the alphabet, letter sound, visual connection.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will also be helping to increase their progress towards their individual annual reading, writing, and math IEP goals.

It has been a challenge providing hands-on materials for my students, however, parents are very appreciative of the activities provided for their children. The students are engaged and will be able to continue to make progress during these challenging times with the continued use of hands-on task folders.
