Valentine Readers!

Help me give my students the opportunity to use their reading skills and get excited about a holiday using these materials!

My Project

All of our students want to become super readers. Providing these books and bookmarks will offer a fun and engaging way for students to enhance their reading skills while enjoying familiar storybook characters. The students will be able to identify and discuss the story elements (characters, setting and the sequence of events) to build their reading comprehension. They will be able to make connections to themselves making Valentine's and text to text connections as well with other stories we will be reading around the holiday. The children will be so excited to receive their own copy of the book to keep in their reading workshop book bin!
