My Project
The primary purpose of my speech class is to equip students with the skills and confidence to communicate effectively and confidently in public, fostering both personal and professional growth. Many students enter into this class with the hope of becoming better communicators and speakers. In an effort to do this, I encourage them to use their voices for spreading positive information and encouraging change amongst their peers. The problem is many of them speak too softly for a large audience to hear. However, when many of them are given a microphone, we can not only hear them but they can finally hear themselves. They come alive and treat their presentation like a performance instead of just an assignment. Please help me keep this spark alive in my students.
